Pewdiepie Harlem Shake
23 Feb
Pewdiepie has made his own version of the Harlem shake, which is available to watch on Youtube.
Harlem shake is a popular song created by the group Baauer that was released in 2013. The song spawned a series of dance videos that begin with a masked individual dancing alone in a group before suddenly cutting to a wild dance party featuring the entire group.
The Harlem shake meme has become an extremely popular viral video to date in 2013. Youtube Trends released the report titled ‘Harlem Shake has Exploded’. Two days later, a company named Billboard broke down the statistics: it had found that the original song for Harlem Shake had sold enough digital copies to reach number 3# in the Itunes market place.
Pewdiepie producing the Harlem Shake video is also timed with the release of the contributions from well-known Internet companies, including BuzzFeed, CollegeHumor, Vimeo and Facebook among many others.
Pewdiepie’s version of Harlem shake has nearly as many views as the original and is the most hilarious version we have seen so far.
There have been over 400 Harlem Shake videos posted on the internet so far.
